Your success will always require change! That is why you need the Word of God in your life! (Ps. 1:1 – 3)
The greatest success habit in your life is reading and understanding the Word of God. It is your WISDOM for life! (Deut. 4:6) The GREATEST WEAPON the enemy can use against you is IGNORANCE of the WORD of GOD! (Hosea 4:6) Not demons … not temptation, but the strongholds of ignorance that exist in your thoughts and imaginations! (2 Cor. 10:3 – 5) More than anything, Satan fears your discovery of the Word of God!
The Word of God provides hope for change and the keys for effective change. That is why as we end 2005 and launch into a new year, I am asking God to release inside of you the greatest passion you’ve ever experienced … a passion for information and wisdom through the Word of God! The first step to success is to embrace the Word of God as a daily habit!
Your Habits Are Deciding Your Future!
Habit is not a bad word! Jesus had habits or daily routines. (Luke 4:16) He had a habit of prayer … church attendance… fellowship with His disciples. Discipline is the conscious effort required to develop habits. Habit is the unconsciousbehavior that requires little effort, but renders big rewards! Mike Murdock says, “Successful people do daily what unsuccessful people do occasionally”! Most failures in life can be traced to something we allowed to develop as a daily way of life – in our thoughts, marriage, finances, or life.
In my teaching series “The Process of Change”, I teach people how to navigate the proper changes required fulfilling a dream. What is the first thing every person needs to change? What essential elements are necessary to bring about change? To be successful, change will be required! You can change:
- Your Finances – The widow in 1 Kings 17 broke her impoverished condition by obediently responding to the Word of God, spoken through a man sent by God. When you cry for a breakthrough, watch for a man of God with a Word of faith to step into your life!
- Your Physical Condition – One woman with a 12 year condition pressed her way through to a miracle and was changed! (Mark 5:25-34)
- Your Struggle – Joshua knew the city of Jericho had never been penetrated or defeated. But, one Word from God changed his perspective, allowing him to lead the people of God to great victory and great spoils. (Joshua 6:1,2)
Start TODAY! Begin now to let the Word of God shape your focus, health, financial decisions, your family life, and your dreams! What captures your attention captures your life! What you fill your mind with determines what you become.
